ABOUT
CATHERINE WARNOCK
My work lives at the crossroads of psychology, storytelling, and consciousness. I’m a licensed professional counselor, educator, and filmmaker who believes true healing happens when science and soul finally start speaking the same language.
At Mariposa Counseling Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico, I offer trauma-informed counseling, professional trainings, and consultation for healing practitioners exploring psilocybin-assisted therapy. My work is guided by both clinical grounding and reverence for the mystery of human transformation.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent nearly twenty years in forensic science, where I learned to see patterns, follow truth, and hold integrity even in uncertainty. Those same principles now guide my work in psychedelic-assisted therapy and education.

I’m the author of Trip the Light Within: A Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy Guide and co-creator of Unstuck: A Healing Journeys Series, which explore the real-world healing potential of psilocybin therapy. I’ll also be featured as a group facilitator in Belong, an upcoming documentary that captures the power of connection and shared healing in group psilocybin work.

As Secretary for Decriminalize Psychedelics New Mexico (DPNM), I advocate for compassionate, inclusive policy that supports safe and ethical psychedelic care. My purpose remains constant: to help others remember their innate capacity to grow, connect, and heal from within.
